My Freaky Friday

So Friday started off rough for me...

Chase woke up sick - so at 6 AM I am getting thrown up on

Then I take Cayden to school and head to work and

there is a tractor trailer that has lost a metal beam in the middle of I-20!

So I finally get to work at 8:45 - I am supposed to be there NO later than 8!

Well - I am working away & I look up ...there is a lady from the building-

She comes in and says you have to go - you have to get out of the building now!

I am standing there dumbfounded ...Wait, what? There were suspesious packages on the

19th and 22nd floors....

So Facia and I make the truck down the stairs and walk over to the Varsity - which

is the buildings meeting spot.

After we had been there a while - they announce that if you do not have to go back in the building that you can leave...well cruelty at is worst...I HAD all the things I needed to go home

but the vault and everything were not secure>ugh!

Well Facia had not been to the Varsity before so we went in a got an ice cream

The day ended on a pretty good note ... it was time to go home when they let us back in the building!!!!

My Day as a SAHM

Wednesday, the boys had dentist appointments. This time we used Nanston in Douglasville. Much better than CDCA!!!! The kids loved it there! Our insurance paid 100% of their visit and the best part....

NO Cavities!!!!!!!!!!!

Pre-Dental Exam / Cayden was to busy playing

After all the dental excitement, Cayden and Chase and I went and picked up Uncle Jeffy. Since the boys had such a pleasant visit - we headed off to Chuck -E- Cheese. It was magical - no one was there. I mean no one - just us and the people that work there! We had lunch and played some games. Once all over that fun was had we went to PetsMart and Target. After that the boys were pooped- so I took Jeffrey home and we headed back to Temple. They fell asleep in the car - so once we got home they were ready to play. So much for me getting a nap. Then at about 4 - we headed to the grocery store! We came home and cleaned up all the toys that had been strewed from one end to the other. Then Dinner, showers, and beddy bye time!

I know if I were to stay home all the time - I would not be able to "get out" and run here and there all the time. BUT Yesterday was so nice! Also I know what is meant to be will be...so I am praying for the ability to do what is best for our family - either working or staying at home!

I get to be a Stay At Home Mom on Tuesday ... we are going to the Children's Museum Target Free day and a picnic in Centennial Olympic Park! (fingers crossed it will not rain) - I am so looking forward to Tuesday!

All these days off are a nice break from the hostile crap hole - I have been working in for the past month - with what I was told there is another month to go!

This is why some people are not blessed with boys!

This is the little note that I get everyday from Cayden's teacher. It tells me how long his nap was, if he needs anything (like changes of clothes), what they did they day (like what letter they talked about) and then there is a comment section. Well usually it says : HAD A GREAT DAY! Well, yesterday it said that in black and then down at the down in blue it said something else. What it looks like is that the day was great up until afternoon outside time! Here is what the bottom of the note said!

So from best that I can understand ... Cayden got in trouble for climbing the fence and then got mad so it always makes sense to pull your pants and underwear down to pout!!!

PS- After dinner Cayden and I had a talk about why we can not pull our pants down in public, private parts, and listening to teachers! And he had to go to bed early and no desert after dinner. So as funny as it is - he does not know that I think it is funny!

A Sunny Afternoon / After Work & School

Yesterday, after we got home and had dinner the boys and I went outside for about 30 minutes or so. They played, had a Popsicle, freaked out the cat, and had a science lesson! Whoosh - they slept good last night!

Friskie even got in on the science lesson. There was a bug on the driveway. Cayden starts yelling: Mommy Mommy there is a bug! Can you go get your shoe & squish it?


The bug turned out to be a caterpillar and we put it back in the grass and I told them how it was just a baby butterfly and that it lives outside so we should not kill it! The boys look at me like - My mom is smoking crack, for real! You expect us to believe that - that bug is going to be a butterfly...

Can I come down the driveway ... just one more time?
No shower for me - I am fine with the Popsicle juice and dirt under my nails!

After all the outside fun we headed in for shower time...I asked Chase if he need to go potty - he said yes - and I thought - YEA RIGHT! HE just wants to sit on the potty and stand up - sit down stand up .... but he DIDN'T! He sat down on try one and pee peed...It is AMAZING two nights in a row!!!!

Well we leave for TN in the morning - I planned our daily activities yesterday -so I am ready to rock and roll -

***I had my car cleaned yesterday at work and it looks like a totally different car...crazy what the likes of vacuuming and "water" can do!!!

A BOY AND HIS BEST FRIEND

Chase has always loved this blue and green pocka dot blanket that I got as a gift off of my baby registry...
Chase sleeps with this blanket.
Chase smells on the blanket.
Chase takes it with him every where he goes.
Chase takes this blanket outside.
BB, as Chase calls it, is a most on overnight trips!
Needless to say that BB is looking a little grim these days. I have looked and looked and looked for a new BB. I have not been able to find one ANYWHERE! We have a blanket with the same pocka dot design that BB has and that one is not good enough...He wants "BB!".

I FINALLY came across one today! If I could have I would have order 3 sets! I ordered one - I figured that BB has lasted 2 1/2 years so if we can get 2 1/2 out of the second one - then will be in business!

BB Jr. will be in here in about a week...Chase will be so excited... (notice BB in the picture)

Crazy Hair Friday

This morning Cayden and Chase decided that they wanted to have crazy hair. I took some pictures of them in the car...Cayden is a DRAGON and Chase is a DINOSAUR! We hope you have a great weekend!

I got the cards above, note cards with our address, return address labels, note cards for cayden, note cards for chase, a notepad, and sticky notes for 30.00. Not everything I ordered was free but still 30.00 for all this stuff is simply amazing! Go check them out. I have ordered from them before and then stuff is nice. I ordered magnet calenders for the fridge, gift tags, some different return labels, and a pen. Love them all! I will shop there again. Apparently!!! PS- You get your products pretty quick! (faster than I thought)...

Why I love MOTHERHOOD

I am reading a book called Motherhood: The (Gift) Guilt That Keeps On Giving by Julie Ann Barnhill. In her opening she makes you do an exercise that involves writing down all the things that you do NOT feel guilty for doing here is what I wrote:

• Taking pictures of the boys doing something that is a no-no instead of a time out
• Kissing my kids even when they turn their heads
  Vacations/weekends just for mommy & daddy
• Eating M&M's before bed as a treat for the boys
• Knowing my faults, admitting them, trying to fix them, and do what I can to make Cayden and Chase's life the best it can
• Going over the top
• Baby Massage or babbbbie 'sage as I used to call them
• Going to Waffle House for dinner after I pick them up from school
