STAYED TUNED FOR UPDATES....

We have tons of fun things planned for fall. Summer used to be my favorite time of year, it has now been downgraded to 2nd place. FALL is my FAV!!!! I love the colors, the activities, the crisp air, family and friends.

I am going to try and get some family pictures taken this fall. We usually do them in the spring but I really bad want pictures with pumpkins, hay, and love oh my!

Here is an update on The Four Farrells:
Joe has been moved to "days". He goes in at 8 and gets home whenever ever(usually 8). He is super busy at work but I wish he would realize that money and "work" is not everything and that he is needed & wanted at home.
I have been super busy with work, school, the kids, and Thirty-One. Some days I do not even know which way is up! I cherish weekends with NO plans and rainy Saturdays! I am super excited to get out and about this fall. I think the kids will have a blast.
Cayden is lovely school. He is doing well, only one red face so far. Apparently, the whole class was in rear form that day. He is almost done with soccer and this will be our last season for a while. he does want to try his hand or bat I should say at Tball.
Chase has been giving me a run for my money lately. Twos are bad - Threes apparently are may worse! Really all joking aside, Monday I had the day off & Chase and I went to lunch with his girlfriend and shopping just the two of us. PS - Chase has a thing for heels, not heels for him but for me...CRAZINESS.
Friskie is still an outside cat and he has hated the rainy weather. SHHH I let him in sometimes when Joe is not home.
Zeke has been actually like he is on speed lately! But he is still the same sweet dog.

Friday

Just Call Me: Superplanner of Travel

I am currently planning our beach trip from this summer. We are going to Gulf Shores with my parents and The Johnston's. We all went to PCB last year. I am excited about this year. The boys are older and I think they will have a blast. We all stay in Mom and Scott's camper. ALL of us!!! There tons of family activities in GS! Also on the way down we are going to stay with Granny for a few days. I know the boys are excited to go Granny's!!
If you know anything about the way I travel I am a bit OCD. Joe hated it at first but as learned to love it because as I have told him: YOU have NEVER been lost, NEVER run out of money, NEVER spent a lot of money, nor have you had a bad time. Anyway we have 15 days and counting until we depart the big town of Temple!

Thursday

Tour DE Force

All of my adult life (which I know as not been long) I have worked in a credit union. I left one credit union and went to another. Thinking if it was closer, paid more money, different hours, different co-workers, not down 285 that I would be happy. I have been to 3 credit unions during this time and I am realizing I am just not cut out for this. I love my members and the relationships that I have with each one. I adore many of my co-workers. I am just missing this fulfillment. I am longing for something. This something I am not exactly sure what it is just yet.
Every so often I get an itch for something else. A change in pace, a change in something small can pacify me for a while. I don't want to the pacified any longer. I want career fulfillment.
As of yesterday, I am starting the path to academic achievements. I am in the process of re-enrolling in school. I have to take a English placement test and once I do that I am registered!
In high school, I took a Marketing class which came so easy to me and at that point I started down the path to a Business Degree. Somewhere along the line I lost interest in this business world.
There is a Kenny Chesney song about a lady who drops a bag of groceries and she says the woman I was going to be would not even recognize me. I was going to run the bank. I was going to have it all. Now all I want is to run a bubble bath! I that is one of my all time favorite songs. It is me up and down. Running anything other than my family does not matter to me. I want to be able to spend time with my children. Right now if there is anything going on after work I am running here, running there, all while racing the clock. I don't think that is fair to me or my family. They do not get the best of me. They get a tired, stressed, over worked under paid mommy and wife. UGH.
I sometimes joke that I am going through a quarter-life crisis. I really think I am. I have really been reflecting on my life. They way my life is - NOT the best that I can do for Joe, Cayden, Chase, the rest of my family, and God. I can a listener, a giver, a teacher, a friend to so many more if my mind is not on 451655 million things at one time.
I know this schooling is not going to be a walk in the park. I have the blessings of Joe and the rest of my family. With them and God I will get through the stress of school, work, and family and emerge on the other side a much, much better person.
I have a plan to finish up my two year degree and become a Prek teacher for the bright start program (the lottery funded PreK), while I am doing that I can be in school for my four year degree to become a K5 or First grade teacher.
Today after I take this English test I will know what classes I need to take and how many credits I need to earn. My goal is to be ready for the start of school next year. But that will all the depend on the amount of classes I have to take. I will let everyone know the updated plan as soon as I can get it together!
So keep me in your thoughts as I try for my very own tour DE force!

Monday

My Freaky Friday

So Friday started off rough for me...

Chase woke up sick - so at 6 AM I am getting thrown up on

Then I take Cayden to school and head to work and

there is a tractor trailer that has lost a metal beam in the middle of I-20!

So I finally get to work at 8:45 - I am supposed to be there NO later than 8!

Well - I am working away & I look up ...there is a lady from the building-

She comes in and says you have to go - you have to get out of the building now!

I am standing there dumbfounded ...Wait, what? There were suspesious packages on the

19th and 22nd floors....

So Facia and I make the truck down the stairs and walk over to the Varsity - which

is the buildings meeting spot.

After we had been there a while - they announce that if you do not have to go back in the building that you can leave...well cruelty at is worst...I HAD all the things I needed to go home

but the vault and everything were not secure>ugh!

Well Facia had not been to the Varsity before so we went in a got an ice cream

The day ended on a pretty good note ... it was time to go home when they let us back in the building!!!!

Thursday

I have only used this once at a soccer game. It is a lot bigger than I thought it would be. The water proof side really seems to keep the water away. No one that sat on the blanket got wet! This blanket will be going to the beach with us this year!
